Casa Nidia | Santiago de Cuba

My husband and I stayed at Casa Nidia for 2 nights and highly recommend it. The location in the famous Tivoli area is great and it is just a short walk to the city centre. The room is very comfortable, clean, spacious, private (on a separate floor with own bathroom) and has a balcony. Nidia prepared delicious breakfasts for us each morning (a selection of fruit, fresh juice, eggs, toast and cake) served on the roof top terrace which has a great view of the city/bay). Nidia was also very friendly and helpful including booking a tour for us and arranging taxis and our next casa in Camaguey (which was also good).

Other comments: Nidia's English is limited so it is helpful if you speak basic Spanish and/or have a phrase book /Google translator app (available offline as there is no wifi at the house)
