How did you make the reservation?: Through Booking.com

How much did you pay per night?: $37 dollars and $6 each for breakfast, which we didn't receive

When we booked this casa we thought it was in Varadero because it says that on the Booking com website in the description. It is about a $15-20 taxi ride away from Varadero but a very cheap bus ride. The bus stops running though at 2:30 pm. So we took the bus to the beach in the morning and took a cab to return. The Casa was clean and Umberto was nice. The conditions were much more rustic then the other casa's we stayed in. We also purchased breakfast in advance but we did not receive breakfast. I think it may have been because Umberto's wife was away in Russia. Definitely look into the details before booking. You must be up for an off-the-beaten path stay- not a Varadero beach stay. There is an amazing restaurant a few blocks away, called El Regreso.

How was your room?: Clean, a loud air conditioner, but an air conditioner. We had to ask to turn the water on for the shower and sink in the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable.

How was the food they offer?: We booked breakfast on the website but didn't receive and when we asked we were told, "there's no bread".
