Casa Eneida | Playa Larga | Cuba

My review: Accueil fantastique par Daniel et Eneida qui sont des hôtes hors pairs. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à faire leur connaissance et nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. A la suite du premier séjour chez eux, nous y sommes retournés une deuxième fois au retour de notre périple dans l'île avec toujours le même plaisir.
How was your room?: Parfaite
How was the food they offer?: Très bonne nourriture. La lemonada a été la meilleure que nous ayons pu boire dans tous Cuba et servie avec un grand sourire). Eneide est une très bonne cuisinière et son riz au lait fut le meilleur dessert de tous notre séjour.
Other services they offer: Contact avec guide animalier.
Other comments: Daniel nous a aidés pour résoudre les problèmes que nous avons eu avec notre voiture (a Cuba c'est malheureusement très souvent le cas) et nous apportées une aide très précieuse.
Daniel nous également mis en relation avec Manolito qui est un guide très expérimenté, compétent et sympathique pour nos visites dans la nature (je fais de la photo animalière). Ce n'est également pas toujours le cas à Cuba, ou les arnaques à la prestation peuvent être bien réelles.
Les photos annexées ont été prise depuis la terrasse de la maison ou les convives prennent le petit déjeuner.

Casa Eneida

My review: Casa Eneida was recommended to my wife and I by the first Casa we stayed at in Holguin. Eneida and Daniel were undoubtedly the most hospitable hosts we met during our three weeks in Cuba, among stiff competition as we found all Casa owners to be friendly and welcoming. We were looking to stay for a couple of days in a quiet area , near a beach with Scuba diving nearby, Playa Larga ticked all the boxes and we enjoyed the company of Eneida and Daniel so much we stayed for a week. Our room was a relatively new addition to the casa and had windows with an amazing view looking over the little harbour and out to sea, there was a large seating area outside the room, with table and chair. Our room and the Casa as a whole was kept spotlessly clean. We were asked what we would like for evening meal or given a choice/suggestions and served delicious food in such quantities it was impossible to finish. When we think of Cuba, our thoughts turn immediately to the amazing people we met and Eneida in particular. We are going back in November 2015.

How was your room?: Spacious, modern, very clean with glazed windows, amazing views and a reasonable shower. The air conditioning and fridge were both very modern and quiet

How was the food they offer?: The best evening meals we experienced in Cuba and a good variety of fresh fruit and choice of hot/ cold food for breakfast.

Other services they offer: A good knowledge of local recreational activities and will book for you, including arrangement of transport.

Other comments: We speak little Spanish but this was not a problem, Eneida has enough understanding of English to keep conversation in good humour, rather than awkward.
