How much did you pay per night?: We paid 35 CUC/room/night.

We enjoyed very much staying at the Casa de Juan y Blanca. Blanca arranged a taxi from and to the airport We felt very welcome. Blanca and Juan were serviceminded, friendly, helpful and nice persons. They spoke good english and we enjoyed their companies. They took care of us very well, especially when we were sick. We really felt comfortable like home. We could ask Blanca a lot of information about everything in Cuba. Our 8 nights and 9 days in Havana were great staying at La Casa on the 2nd floor for ourselves. Its location was situated in the central. It was very close to every tourist attraction in Old Havana. The apartment was very clean, quiet and full equipped; fans, air conditions, refrigerator, hair dryer, hot shower, big wardrobes, tables, chairs, European electrical plug, sink in the kitchen and rope strings for hanging clothes. The rooms were cleaned everyday and we even got dry towels each day. Blanca was very neat with the details in her place and all were well-maintained. The high cellings in the living room were beautifully decorated and there we found books and maps. We enjoyed sitting on the fantastic balcony every evening and watching lives outside and listening to music that neighbors and tricycle taxis played. Blanca didn’t serve breakfast anymore but we could breakfast just around the corner for only 5 CUC. We couldn’t thank both Blanca and Juan enough for their hospitableness which made our trip in Havana fantastic. We really fall in love in Havana and Cuba. It was very pleasant staying in La Casa de Juan y Blanca. We will definitely came back and highly recommend the place.

We spent a day of 4 in Blanca's apartment full of character and atmosphere in the heart of Havana Vieja and we loved it! There's a living room full of natural light and a fantastic balcony, a separate bedroom with a huge cupboard to store your clothes, AC as well as a fan and a big mirror. Bathroom has all you need, perhaps never enough water pressure but this is Havana so it's what it is. Then there is a large space with kitchen area, a table with seats and a big fridge. The apartment feels like home and Blanca does everything she can to make you comfortable. You can ask her everything. And in English too! The location is the best you can wish for, in middle of everything and still not too noisy. We loved our stay at Blanca's and we will certainly come back!

How was your room?: Great! Spacious, light and comfortable

Casa Juan y Blanca

My review: Blanca was a great hostess, very friendly and helpful. The second level apartment (with private entrance) within Old Havana consists of a bedroom with air conditioner and small colour TV, and a comfortable Queen-size bed. The kitchen has a sink, table, kettle and refrigerator. The sitting room and adjoining street balcony has a couch and two chairs. All are clean and well-maintained. The bathroom has a nice shower and hair dryer, and includes toiletries. The location is excellent, as it is only 2 or 3 blocks from the Parque Central (transportation centre) as well as the famous shopping street "Obispo" We stayed 11 enjoyable days and nights here. Highly recommended!

My review: Great location, close to everything. Apartment was clean and as represented. Juan and Blanca are great, very helpful and a great source of information. Super breakfast available just around the corner at Anna's for 5.00 CUC. I would recommend this Casa. No complaints!

La Casa de Juan y Blanca

My review: Stayed two nights in this great casa this week. An apartment for ourselves very well situated with a balcony with a view of the beautiful street. You can see the top of the Revolution Museum from the balcony. Great place to experience the real Havana! Blanca is an amazing women, very welcoming and helpfull for everything you need and she speak pretty well in English. The appartement is very clean, amazing typical high cellings. They don't serve breakfast at the casa but you have the option to go eat at another casa right besine own by French people. Very good breakfast for 5$. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much Blanca for everything!!

Casa Juan y Blanca

My review: Blanca and Juan were amazing hosts! They were like our grandparents and helped us with anything we needed. Blanca is such a nice, warm and welcoming person and when we came back through Havana a week later she found us a room with her friend because she was already booked.
The apartment is on the second storey with a balcony, and is immaculately clean and beautiful. She takes such great pride in her house and it is so obvious. It is more expensive than some, but this is because it is a two bedroom apartment and she rents it out only as a unit, so whether you need the extra bedroom or not it's all to yourself. There is also a fridge, kettle, living room, small collection of books and maps, and a beautifully redone bathroom with hair dryer and toiletries. She thinks of everything!
Blanca doesn't make breakfast anymore, but she sent us to a new casa and paladar (private restaurant) opened by her friend and a French chef right around the corner, where we paid 5 cuc for breakfast and 5 for a tapas plate for dinner each! It was phenomenal.
The location is also great. It's just off the huge boulevard Avenue de Misiones and very quiet. The bedroom is in the back of the apartment and very peaceful. However, you're still steps from almost anywhere in Habana Vieja, and it's not a street totally overrun by tourists. Perfect location.
We can't recommend Blanca enough. Her and the apartment is more than we could have dreamed of and made us feel so welcome in Cuba.

How was the food they offer?: Blanca directed is to her friend around the corner, for some of the best food we had in Cuba at special casa prices

LA CASA DE JUAN Y BLANCA

My review: The casa was perfect, well located with view at the museum of Revolution. Quiet street just a few streets away from all the central places you want to visit in the city. You have your own appartment with balcony, fridge, good airco. Very clean. But above all the good facilities there is your host Blanca. She is terrific! She's interested in you as a person, wants to get to know you, advises you for your trip and she makes delicious breakfast (try the white guave juice!!!)

Casa de Juan y Blanca

My review: We had a wonderful stay at Blanca's casa in Havana. It was perfectly located, and very close to the Museo de la Revolucion and the art gallery in Old Havana. We had a whole floor of Blanca's home to ourselves, including a bedroom, bathroom, sitting area, tea and coffee facilities, fridge and balcony! Blanca was hugely helpful when it came to organising the rest of our holiday in Cuba. She found us fantastic places to stay in Vinales and Trinidad which really gave us a perfect trip.
How was your room?: The room was fine. The space as a whole was fantastic.
How was the food they offer?: Blanca didn't provide food but gave us some great recommendations for breakfast and dinner nearby.
Other services they offer: Really helpful when organising further places for us to stay in Cuba.
Other comments: Stay here in Havana if it isn't already booked!
